@samuraiko Well you deserve to have compliments like those. It's these kind of videos that made me want to make my own AMVs. Plus showing the characters strengths and weaknesses is what I live to do for my AMVs. Show how much love and time that went into even a minior character, to show they these COULD have been people you've known through out your life.I've known a few Heihachis, more than my share of Kikus, and inspred by a Gorobei.

@starguy13 Kurosawa's film was the basis for this anime, made with the blessing and cooperation of his estate. It expands on the original film, and is well worth the watch.

God, you have no idea how much this made me cry. The four where my favorites in this anime, and it was so sad to see them all die. Just watching this makes me wanna cry more. This was truely one of the greatest animes I've ever watched, and they where truely some of the greatest characters anyone will ever see in any anime. This will always be in my heart, and this vid in my favorites.

I just finished watching the series today. All through the deaths I wanted to cry, but I had just finished the last episode when I let myself. Let me tell you guys, I have not criesd as hard as I did over a death like theirs in years. It's been a long time. I will never forget them, their great characters. Even though they're dead, they will always be remembered.

out of the 4 that died i would say it was kikuchiyu and heihachi's were the most honorable since they willingly died where as kyuzo and gorobei had died against their choice (although they were honorable to risk their lives as well)

I hate how their deaths were so brutal especially Heihachi that one made me shed a tear.......and why'd they have to make Kyuzo die by friendly fire? couldn't it have been more epic like fighting a crapload of oponents?

Because that's what you would have EXPECTED. I wasn't happy about them dying, either, which is why I've written stories about what happened AFTER the Battle of Kanna. Like the video says, "Gone but not forgotten."

It was certainly not deliberate. And Katsushiro was acting to save Kambei's life, not realizing that Kyuzo was standing behind the guard. And even Kambei recognizes that fact. But it certainly haunts Katsu for the rest of his life...
