Very beautiful and powerful message, good job Maxine. It's my opinion as a mom that most of the young people here on Youtube leave their hateful comments simply because they can. If one can be banned on here for uploading the wrong music then why not for their bullying? I know U didn't just mean Youtube but rather bullying in general but it saddens me deeply to see all the vulgar remarks especially against children. People don't realize the harm and hurt they cause. I was bullied on 7th grade, too, even thou it didn't last for so long, it still hurt. Sometimes I still feel scared or insecure with new friendships and such, but I'm much better now. It's been more than 3 years now from the bullying, and I'm glad that I've forgotten many of the things those kids said and did to me, but I can never forget the feeling of being bullied. That's the worst of all. And beside that, you can always get your courage and self-esteem back, like I did. And I'm happy now. :)

i totally know where you are comign from with them suddenly wanting to be friends.. i was insulted beyond belief all through out high school and at my senior year i developped serious anorexia and by the end of my senior year when i was a walking toothpick,suddenly the "popular" ones wanted to be around me. told them to go fuck themselves and i have kept my word to this day.

This is so very true! I'm 16 years old and to this day the people who use to abuse me in school both physically and mentally come up to me when they see me shopping, or going about my own daily business.. They tell me how pretty I am and how much they want to be my friend.. It makes me laugh at how shallow people are because these people who now want to be friends use to call me fat, worthless, ugly, filthy.. You name it..

@IlseFemkeGjaltema it isnt fake, he responded to the allegations saying that it was a year ago and that he has come a long way for where he was before. He is in a happy place now, which makes it even better, because he fought through the bullying and it shows it does get better!
