The 59% Lindy content shirts came about because 11 out of 17 couples that year got DQ'd from the classic division. So, one day at the LA/OC exchange, we all decided that since none of us had the minimum 60% Lindy hop content, we should all get shirts that say so.
I remember sitting in dax's what was it... firebird? and him showing me this song for the first time? This was what caused the 59% lindy content... and where's the video of N back?
They were disqualified because they had been told they were to be competing sixth, so they went somewhere to practice. Of course, they were the third couple called, and could not be found, so they were disqualified. This was sort of fitting, since this was the ALHC where everyone was disqualified. What you see here is only an exhibition. It was still way, way better than any other routine.
Wow....this was like 9 years ago. They're both even better today :)

Fantastic concept, and pretty well executed too - what rule got them disqualified? Too much solo work or aerials?
Which version/piece(s) of music are they using? I can't identify it off the top of my head, and the hits are awesome.
