Yeah well i still think le mans rules. Allthougt Audi do dominate the competition is still there. One thing i hate is the LMP2 class. Way to unstable and fragile for endurance, only a few finishes every year.
Yep, Bentley did win in 2003 but they used an Audi R8R engine. That's why everyone considers it 8 years in a row. 7 for Audi teams, 8 for manufacture.
I believe the Bentley used an engine that was structually similar to the R8's engine but was enlarged to 4.0 liters and redesigned to be a proprietary Bentley engine.
Eh? It's the Diesel regs that suck. Prior to Audi's R10 Pescarolo always ran Audi close in Le Mans, in the same way that Peugeot do now. 2009 will prove to be far better competition wise with the regs being evened up between Diesel and Petrol.
i downloaded da mod @ perfect dark, i installed it, bu when i ran gtr2,i only found the r8, the r10 (added by me) n a bunch of lola's, can u tell me wats wrong??, btw these r de only cars dat appear in da teams folder so... help me!!!!

Of course they did there! The course isn't small enough in enough areas for traffic to be to big of a problem!

there is NO competition audi has dominated for almost 10 years now and the only challengers are lola and peugeot
in the 80s nd 90s there were like atleast 10 manufactures from all over the world

not only were there more cars in the 1980's but way better competition.

i remember in the 90's there was bmw, PORSCHE, toyota, nissan, lola, etc.
ever since audi came out with a deisel, no1 else has a chance nd even if the others start, they r already 3 years behind

Exactly. Only 2 cars in LMP2 finished at this past year's race. If only Dyson and Penske would bring their RS Spyders to LeMans...

Yeah well theres is a danish team coming with a RS Spyder, in blue. Damn it looks good. Think they are called Team Essex if you wanna see more.

Bentley were using a V12 correct me if im wrong? The chassis was heavily based on the R8 however.
