@IndomitusLupus Yeah, they are very underated. These guys are badass. They have the same fitness level of seals, rangers, SF, ect. Look them up Pararescue and combat controllers.

question to anyone who has been through CCT training (well really, only initial skills training) (well really, only CCSC)

I've failed the PAST once (i was out of form on pushups and they had someone demonstrate proper technique in front of me and i set my knees down to observe lol) but i'm taking it again next friday

once (if) i pass, for the Selection Course, what should I prepare for? a TON of swimming or is it gonna be a pretty good balance of swimming/running/calisthenics?

@Nocon6 You fin a lot in selection, run, grass and gorillas (bear crawls, log rolls, frog jumps etc) find a good combat crossfit gym or PM me for workouts

@holaputa2 ha sorry i got to this so late. crossfit is the way to go, all the specops trainees love that stuff. i killed the last PAST, signed my papers. then my eyes apparently disqualified me, so i can't do CCT until i have corrective surgery...so if i stay motivated, it'll still be years lol

I was a combat controller for 18 years.

A shortfall in mental and physical skills are the only ways to fail CCT training. Before you start, be physically fit and have the right attitude. The student motto is NEVER GIVE UP! You gotta live by that code of conduct.
