For convenience to Duke of Glouchester street and real charm, stay in one of the Colonial Houses! They're historic Williamsburg's great secret, they're decorated with 18th-century style, and they're not prohibitively expensive. I've been to Williamsburg 4 times and it's definitely the adult way to go.
