I love my pro, I thought the little keyboard would be a nuisance to use but after i got used to it, the flow was great. its a mobile PPC windows powered so if your accustomed windows mobile its a nice phone and it does what you want (if you know how to use it)

i just got my touch pro its awesome but its a bit pricy. although i got it for only $50 because i had insurance on my old HTC mogul and since it was discontinued it's absolutely great, the best phone i've ever had.

Solid keypads are far better than the vitual keypads on the iphone/htc original touch. A solid key pad will beat a vitual keypad any day. On the subject doe anyone know a DECENT txt pad for the HTC touch?

the iphone is decent but its alot of flashyness with medeocre functionality. I have owned an iphone, then i switched and got the TITAN 2, which seemed like it could do way more. It's definately more complicated, but it allows u to do more complex and simple functions that the iphone just neglected to offer...simple things like copy and paste.

It's nice but it's 5 times as thick as an iphone. There's no excuse for that. Multitouch and the accelerometer in the iphone are great fun to take advantage when applied in a way as clever as the iphone it's self.

actually i am not a verizon customer, i don't even have a cell phone. I have been saving up for the htc touch pro since i first heard of it. My family has verizon so I have to get what they get. otherwise i would have been on the fence with the iphone and this product. either way i am very excited to see it come out for verizon here soon.

don't be stupid. it's obvious the HTC would win easily. think about it; if you can type that fast on a virtual keyboard you can do the same at the very worst on a real keyboard.

the only reason the iphone doesn't have a real keyboard is because it ruins the form factor. the iphone would be way better (minus the form factor and looks) if it had a full keyboard.

Actually, I believe one could potentially type faster on a virtual keypad than on a physical one. The input on a virtual keypad is registered by just a slight tap, whereas you have to, well, physically depress the keys on a physical pad. More exertion. Not much more, but still more.

that's just silly. theoretically if humans have absolute precision, sure. in real life terms, it's obvious the virtual keyboard loses big time since no one has the precision to hit the right key on the first try with a very fast light tap while lifting the fingers at the most minimal distance.

not only that but your exertion claims neglect to include the fact that you don't need to lift your fingers up after each key, where as you do with the virtual one. that's exertion right there.
