Got a LifeProof case for Christmas and just found out that it leaks, luckily I didn't ruin my iPhone! It still protects the phone well I just can't put it under water since it came warped on one side. Still, I love this case. :)

The case is fussy, fussy and more fussy to get your iPhone in and out of...They make it difficult for you to understand this until you buy the product and they refer you a web page of instructions...You have to dig to find it...There is also a 50 time in and out of the case life span of the case...great!...I want something that I can pop the iPhone in and GO...Customer service?...FORGET IT...Slick

Until then I can say that the case really doesn't add much more bulk to the phone than most other cases. When typing you can feel that you hit the plastic first and then the glass but it doesn't seem to impact the precision dramatically. A tiny bit maybe. Sometimes.

@tishica14 Our cases all work perfectly with the 4S. Some reviews about the screen protector are outdated and we don't have an issue with the screen flatness at all!
@LifeProofCases What about the sound quality? Are there still issues there? I've read reviews about the volume being low and people having problems hearing on the other end with an echo. What are you thoughts on that?
Will there be a Gen 3 if the Gen 2's protection screen still causes unresponsiveness of the iphone screen and the muffle voice received by the other end of the line still persist? These are the two top priority of ensuring the phone still functioning as if it never had the case put on.
The case is decent for hazardous use. I would not recommend it for a daily carry. The screen action and feel is seriously degraded. Its works but the action is sluggish since there is a air pocket between the screen protector and phone.

Normally, I wouldn't hesitate to get this case, however with the iPhone 5 (or whatever apple will name it) just around the corner from release, this case is way too late to the rodeo. However, if a LifeProof case for the next iPhone comes out within a reasonable time from the release of the phone, I will definitely pick it up.
Had me till I saw that it looks like you can no longer use a docking system. Now if they can make the bottom cover open towards the front, it may solve that prob for most docks.. Bummer.

@abdulr Yes, screen sensitivity is very tactile with a LifeProof case. To use the screen underwater you'll hvae to download an app that takes pictures with the volume buttons or is timed since the screen thinks the water is one big finger. Thanks!
Is there any big glare with the screen? Also, does it come with a warranty? Also, when you're underwater, what happens if you accidentally unplug the waterproof headphone jack? I am considering buying one, screw otterbox LOL!!!
@lhrmeonom the screen has anti-glare but there is some in direct sunlight. We offer full money back on the case itself. You should definitely not unscrew your headphone jack while under water. The headphone bung is very secure, just make sure it's tight when you plan on going in water. Thanks for your interest!

@MisterExx0110 We'll be getting the iPhone 5 at the same time as the rest of you so depending on how big the changes are it will take anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months.
@LifeProofCases Thanks for the info! :-) Hopefully the rumors are right, and the new phone will encase the same body as the iPhone 4 with maybe a slightly larger screen - which I'm assuming shouldn't affect the design of the case. So if any changes needed to be made, they should be pretty minor, or possibly none at all.
@MisterExx0110 They do have to be the smaller style like Apple and if they do not fit then you can buy our adapter that will work. Accommodating bulkier headphones would have caused the case design to also be bulky. Sleek and Sexy:)
I have never seen such beautiful phone in a great beautiful casing... BUT dropping it intentionally and saying that "it still works" is really the most insane thing to do... what you do is actually protects your iphone form scratches and dents... but not the solders thats on the board... the housing protects your phone but really not shock like youre saying... hehehe... anyways... whattheheck!
I know it's hard to believe but we do in fact protect from shock. The technology behind this product is incredible. I personally have seen our iPhone 4's dropped over 500 times. Although we're not saying that you should purposely drop your phone or that it is impossible to break, we are saying that the chances are extremely diminished.
Just kidding, I'm sold, this is going to be my new iPad and iPhone case for iPhone 5 and iPad 2 when eve that's out. Please hurry with the iPad 2 case, I need it by Friday!
@dday257 Thank you for the suggestion. We figured that showing you the actual live video recorded through the iPhone camera simultaneously to the second camera view while it was being punished was the greatest proof that the iPhone was still operational. Obviously we cannot scroll through the icons while it is recording, but you can see the iphone charging and button pressing at the end with Dusty charging. We will incorporate screen scrolling and flipping in future videos.

BUT dropping it intentionally and saying that "it still works" is really the most insane thing to do... what you do is actually protects your iphone form scratches and dents... but not the solders thats on the board... the housing protects your phone but really not shock like youre saying... hehehe... anyways... whattheheck!

I know it's hard to believe but we do in fact protect from shock. The technology behind this product is incredible. I personally have seen our iPhone 4's dropped over 500 times. Although we're not saying that you should purposely drop your phone or that it is impossible to break, we are saying that the chances are extremely diminished.

I never see anyone using the screen, scrolling, or flipping through the pages.

@dday257 Thank you for the suggestion. We figured that showing you the actual live video recorded through the iPhone camera simultaneously to the second camera view while it was being punished was the greatest proof that the iPhone was still operational. Obviously we cannot scroll through the icons while it is recording, but you can see the iphone charging and button pressing at the end with Dusty charging. We will incorporate screen scrolling and flipping in future videos.
