  • COOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Austin316Steve さん^^ARIGATO^^

    Thank you very much.

    Please have a wonderful ☆Christmas season.^^

  • A modern day classic from the film, "The Sandpiper" starring Elizaabeth Taylor and Richard Burton from 1965. I believe it won the Academy Award as best song of the year.

  • @grooverunner さん^^

Thank you very much for detailed explanation.

I watched a movie on TV.It is a splendid movie.

And the song of insertion is splendid, too.

    Please have a happy week.^^

  • There's something about this music-- Most people consider it corny, but when I was a kid (1970's) there were what they call "Beautiful Music" radio stations, that played this stuff 24/7. My dad was a jazz guy, but also had one of those stations set on the hi-fi: WRFM in NY ("Stereo 105", does anyone out there remember?) So I always heard either "beautiful music" or jazz. I've since become a jazz musician, and I dig hipper sounds, but somehow this stuff always warms my heart.. Nice!

  • @epf1961 さんARIGATO^^

Thank you very much for the story of a wonderful memory.

I had you teach their music from father. And I was surprised that youtubu did not have it. A heart is splendid music to feel relaxed.

    Please have happy time.^^

  • @epf1961 -

My mom listened to WRFM, too! I was weaned on Muzak! And when I get stressed, "beautiful music" is the first thing I put on my "hi fi". The Jackie Gleason Orchestra, Mantovani, Bert Kaemfert, 101 Strings, the Percy Faith Orchestra...quality never dies.

  • @jazzbuff630 The Shadow of your smile is probably my all time favorite song, I have many versions of it by various artists. This is the first I have ever heard of the Jackie Gleason Orchestra. Can anyone elaborate on this. Never heard of it. I was waiting to hear Jackie sing in this song but realized was instrumental. Bert K is GREAT TOO, a style of his own.

  • @Blacknightsjester さん^^ARIGATO^^

Thank you for very nice comment.

I had you teach his orchestra from father. And I think that it is splendid noble music.

I am weak in English, and I'm sorry.

    Please have a wonderful day.^^/

  • @epf1961 Yeah I remember WRFM but thought it was 104.5 - I had it going instead of TV and could just sit and listen for hours. I had a lot of Jackie Gleason LP's as well which are gone now so this youtube stuff is great to tap into. Am a classical musician now since about 1976

  • @epf1961 When I was in high school, this was my girlfriend's favorite station. She had it set on one of my car radio buttons. Every time we parked to make out, she would hit her button, and we had the perfect music for romance. They did play a lot of Gleason, and those were her favorites. One night, we were alone at her house, and she put her parent's copy of Music for Lovers Only on the strereo. Making out to that music was pure heaven. Yes, sometimes we got carried away....

  • @dsmith11366 さんARIGATO^^

Thank you very much for the story of your wonderful memory♥.

I had you teach their music from father.

I think that it is splendid music.

    Please have wonderful autumn.^^

  • @dsmith11366 What happened to her? Did you two get married? Have any kids? Do you still see her? The story about the two of you, I bet, would make a great novel. Hope to hear from you. Kay

  • @kbking ^^Hi Kay^^

And I love this movie and splendid music.
