DADGAD or Open D tuning?

A really lovely sound. You have an exceptionally tight right hand technique and it's hard to see what you're doing. It looks as if you use all 4 fingers to pick the higher strings - so do you use your thumb for the 4th as well as the adjacent finger? My technique is a bit clumsy, but the pinky does tend to have a role to play. (It's my left hand that's the problem because I have a severed nerve in the index finger which means I can't feel where the damn thing is going).

Thanks for a great comment. I really like to keep my picking hand close to the strings if possible. I do not use my little finger at All, But I can see why you might have thought that.  Normally my thunb will play the E,A,D strings. If I can stick to this I will however there are times when you can not but it's a good rule to keep in mind.

This piece is in DADGAD, I really like this tuning makes the guitar really sing. Thanks again

The guitar is a faith with a mag mic fitted in the sound hole. The guitar is plugged into a RME fire face 400 sound card.

Then recorded into Apple Logic Pro.
