  • I agree with you and the guillotine it is kind of creepy!

  • Thanks for that useful information... I have found that I have several items of equipment that I have bought in the past without really knowing whether they do the job or not....usually NOT lol! BTW....I love the dog insisting on getting in on the act (do you have a Dachshund?) sounds just like mine.......TFS. Bea.

  • @123angelbea I'm glad this was helpful. My dog was a stray...so I don't know what he is. He's a small breed...maybe dachshund...I don't really know. He tries to protect me. =)

  • Hi Sweetie!!! I just thought that I would mention a few things that helped me when I 1st got this trimmer. (I also upgraded from the same small gray one)

1st, the clear plastic finger guard is AWESOME you hold it down with slight pressure and it not only helps with "fingerprints" but is "locks In" your paper so there is less chance of the paper moving or shifting (esp. is using multiple or thick paper)

2nd ALWAYS pull your blade toward the "bumper guard" don't start at the guard and go up.

  • @jeffnval1 Thanks for the tip. I'm getting better at using this trimmer. It's hard to change tools after so long. =)

  • Enjoyed this review. Good choice.

  • @iluvtojournal Thanks so much for the comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
