I'm considering buying the v2 sets and modding the AB w/ mg parts. What do you think would make a good frame? I have the crossbone x-1 and F91 mg's, I think those might work because of their smaller size.
@PaowinPandas 1/100 Victory Gundam era MS are really small, it would be too hard to engineer moving hands...plus they're only HG which should give a clue
the V2 and V1 were so fragile, i had to stop halfway because i'm afraid i might broke some certain parts... the plastic used for older gunplas is indeed very fragile. I don't even know whether i'm going to finish them or not... ugh
3:05 Or you can hold the sheild with the handle right there just like on the anime, that and move the arm towards the body like its blocking with one hand.
yeah its sort of an overall design flaw in the early 90s gundam shows, they dont taek advantage of the humanoid form and tend to just make floating gun boats. the Ex-S gundam from sentinel is the most overloaded gundam fo all time too btw
if your just including gundams, then yes, nu gundam, psycho gundam, and ex-s are some of the tallest. but dont forget the unicorn gundam in destroy mode. and since you included the quin mantha, i think ill thro in sazabi, and sinanju.
V2's WoL are made of minovsky particles, meaning they are like giant beam sabres or beam sheilds. they move around, and can be use as offensive and defensive weapons, protecting itself and others from most attacks, or flapping like giant beam wings to slice up opponents. destiny's WoL are just a cheap copy to look pretty.
also a note on Exia; GN drives are actually a copy of V2's Minovsky drive. they both perform the same way, though the V2's top speed is still higher than anything from 00.
well, the strike freedom does look like they have wings of light, but the mechanical info of strike freedom doesnt show tat it has one. so its sorta like thrusters in the wings blowing off some colour air of some sort

PaowinPandas 2 years ago

V2's wings can defend allied suits, slice through enemy MSs, and even ships.
rrobbert184 3 years ago
lol dont forget, the zeta is still taller than the nu gundam but of course the 1/100 psycho gundam is the real beast hahaha.
Gabd3v 2 years ago
The Nu Gundam is one of if not the tallest Gundam, excluding the obvious Psycho units.
SSDrei 2 years ago
Zeta C1 is pretty close but the Ex-S gundam is by far the tallest excluding the MA like you mentioned.
I still say we ned a mastergrade Psycho MK-II or the quin mantha.

Very cool. The one biggest gripe I really have with the V2 kits is that they don't come with the essential "Hikari no Tsubasa" Wings of Light
navigatorhat 3 years ago
whoa it have wings of light? to think tat i thought tat destiny was the only gundam with wings of light
wencong1356 3 years ago
V2's wings of light are awesome. they don't look as good as destiny's, but they are ridiculously powerful in the anime.
rrobbert184 3 years ago
how powerful? like exia's trans am mode tat strong?
