Don't be distracted. The spiritual battle is won by the teaching of biblical doctorine in the home--raising up generations upon generations of Christians. I applaud those who speak out towards the world but encourage everyone to speak up in the home. Remember, every day you, your wife, or your child is taking in some kind of doctorine. We must ask ourselves --Is is it doctorine that is delivered by the Holy Spirit, from the Father, and in the name of Jesus Christ?

It is not a day to necessarily pray out loud, but a day when we as a nation (and most of the tens if not hundreds of thousands are praying quietly) petition our God for our Nation, its people, peace, and for wisdom for those who govern us. It can't be that hard. If you don't believe in prayer, don't do it. The majority of the population of this nation happens to, therefore we pray and honor prayer by choice, but make no one by threat, duress or coercion. It is still (for a little longer) a FREE United States of America.

God bless you! It is not so much about "praying so everyone can see us" but it is coming together as a nation before God and a nation UNDER GOD. So many have been brainwashed into believing our Founders wanted separation of church and state but clearly they never wanted a nation or government without God. I'm basically an agnostic, but I still think there's an important place for prayer/reflection in our everyday lives. I can't understand how Obama rationalizes a Day of Prayer as inappropriate. It isn't sectarian at all--if that's what he's worried about--because every religious faith does it in some form or another. Yet another outrageous decision by Obama, not that I'm surprised. Keep up the great work, Congressman Pence!
