@creamtt thats a load of pish haggis is scottish english r just jealous they did not invent this fine food . the usual typical english taking credit for a scottish invention or scottish food
@creamtt haggis is a scottish dish under product of scotland and is a tradional scottish dish so its scottish though and though proberly u r jealous your culture did not invent it whats next . maybe next you will say english invented whisky bugger off english kid
Wonderful address...even though I only caught about every other word...hahaha! I still don't get the haggis tradition or Burn's Night...but...it was great fun to partake in the festivites while I was in Scotland...:-)
Oh lovely recital. I think I'll pull this vid when we do Burns night next year. We were lucky to have a real MacSweens this year my husband brought it back from Edinburgh a few days before 25th. It was the best haggis I've had and my kids request it other times of year too. Cheers, Lesley
Mmmmm, "gushing entails"! Sounds ?yummy? I did not understand much of that, but I loved the sound of it--make sense? So, haggis, it must still be popular as several commenters say they love it, and I noticed a packaged one in the vid--ready to eat. For real, have you tried it, do you love it? Maybe it's just the presentation that puts me off.
Three things...1)for us poor DP's...subtitles sounds like a good idea..2)this Haggis...looks scary...but could you supply recipe?...not that I likey will cook it...and 3)...LOVE your accent...and reading!! LOL Beeke
Brilliant!

I'm a bit sacriligeous with my haggis - I slice it and fry it! Oh the shame! but yeah, it's delish!

I sound like that after too many whiskys...I wonder does that mean I'm a poet...or just pished? Nice rendition btw!

Washing it down with Port is blasphemy! Unless you can find a single malt port.
