  • Thats doing too much for somethin that easy

  • Is it just me, or were the results minimal at best? Not only that but these lights will be hazzy in less than a month with out a sealer/hardcoat. All you need is a tiny bit of 400-800-1000-1500-2000 most of whichcan be found in a 1/3 size 3m assortment pack. then rubbing compound to take scratches out(best used with drill and polishing pad) and finally a sealant.

  • i notice only idiots who polish their head lamps when they polish their cars have this problem. Stop trying so hard to polish everything. your head lamps will look good for ever. the old glass headlamps never had this problem. the new plastic lenses break down from the polishing compounds

  • no polish?

or polymers? I got a great kit from walmart (CV Headlight restorer/defogger)

  • Would this leave lines or scratches to your headlights? On mine I stoped with a 1000 grid at the end and it left slot of scratches.

  • he aint gonna have a headlight if he keep going lol!

  • too much sand paper

  • I agree, way too many grits used, stopping after 2000 is fine, not sure they are using a really good polish, maybe that's why they are using such fine grit sand paper, finally wheres the sealer?

  • I have been doing this for 5 years. THis is not the way you want to do it if you want it to last. These guys have a long way to go.

  • hahahha.... before and after looks like the same

  • @luiseduardo586 no it doesnt, are you blind?

  • @69charger440sixpack I'm not, I just gave my opinion. By the way, there are many other products that accomplish that task in a more efficient way in my opinion.

  • @luiseduardo586 Maybe but you also have to realize that you dont have to use all the grits they showed you can go from 400 to the 12000 and it works the same, standard procedure says to do all of them which you should if you have really bad headlights, these on the video wernt that bad. The point is it works and people want that.

  • that some heavy fuckin music for headlight matinence.... and went way overkill on the damn sandpaper, 400 grit then 1,200 would do the job perfectly.

  • @sideshow45 the heavy metal music was probably chosen by the guy telling us what to do...his voice was pretty deep and raspy LOL

  • Nice comercial for the GRIT...I use first 1000 grit and 2000 grit..then polished it..and they looked like new.!!

  • fuck that shit yo!! fo real use toothpaste!! it really work les than 5 mins total!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @crazybikr getto!!!!and it doesnt work.

  • Fake.

  • Hii I made on my own a cream and it works perfectly. Just mix sault + water + toothpaste + and detergents powder = cream and after you brush your headlights clear it with water and let it dry . Then Put some Shining cream like overline and you are ready . i try it and it works fine! I hope I help you Thnxxxx

  • I like the sidebar with the scenario of wasting time and money. For a few bucks I get everything I need at Walmart and with the extra I save it for when I need to do it again, since this doesn't protect the lenses from oxidizing again.

  • hahahaha...wet the 1.4 million grit pad, and sand for 3 or 4 minutes....when will it end?!?!

  • @NosloTC honestly, it doesnt take that many, you just need to get the yellow haze off, buff it really well, not like this guy did, he really sucked, and then use a quality sealant to protect it from UV rays in the future

  • rags? more like toilet paper

  • @unitaper

    lol

I was thinking it looked like tp too :)

  • holy shit u need to wet like 7 sand papers like wtf. i thought he would use like 2 or 3 then it keeps going im like wtf what a joke.

  • Just use toothpaste!

  • great,thanks

  • toothpaste alone isnt enough.if u really want to remove yellow haze

  • Looks good. 3M has a kit that uses a drill to do the sanding. Mine came out great with the 3M kit.

  • It says that if you buy it from the store you would get too much material for the job, or you can buy their product and have just enough material to do 10 headlights..... who is doing ten at once? Isn't enough to do 10 the same as buying way more material then you need? Just a thought.
