I have an 05 cr85 and my friend has an 06 crf150r and i cant feel a difference in power besides the fact that my 85 has a huge powerband compared to the 150. We had a drag race one time and my friend pulled out ahead of me in the high gears. We even swapped bikes and it was the same outcome.

Strokes are how many steps it takes for the engine to create a revolution. im a 2 stroke guy and i dont know alot about four strokes but a 2 stroke goes through 2 steps, the in take, and the fireing. a 2 stroke rotates every revolution un like a 4 stroke wich turns every other revolution. this is why people say a 2 stroke has acceleration. ( a turn is when the sprocket turn, just incase i wasnt clear)
