@capone70 That's not factual. The oldest Gospel was not even written until after the death of Paul, who died around mid 60s AD. So, there's no way they were written 5 years after the 'resurrection.' The Qur'an was written down during the life of the Prophet(PBUH), but was not compiled into a book until the reign of Uthman(ra) less than 10 years after the death of the Prophet(PBUH).

It is a very cheap trick indeed, what Yahya was saying. Nabeel claimed to be propagating Islam in his days of "Islam" yet all muslims or outsiders of muslim do not consider Ahmadiyyah as muslim. So, Nabeel did not actually convert from "Islam to Christianity" as he claimed but "a cheap trick"
Well, there is certainly less of a difference between Qadiani's and Sunni's (and Yahya is neither), then there is between the RCC of Yahya's youth and the evangelical stance of Nabeel today, so Nabeel could have played the same game. As it is, I see Nabeel's Islam as more genuine than Yahya's Catholicism since Nabeel could speak of his stalwart committment and passion for Islam before converting, whereas Yahya had to mention just how superficially Christian his upbringing was.
That was a very impressive defense of Christianity Dr. Qureshi. Might I say that Raymond Brown and Bart Ehrman, two respected scholars by all in the field hold that Jesus is presented as divine in first century Biblical documents. Lord bless.

God's spirit was out of the world and there seemed to be no human with authority to cast out and command evil spirits. Hence all people who practiced idolatry , divination, sorcery, necromancy, were possessed, practiced channeling ect were commanded to be killed so there demonic influence not to infiltrate Israel. I think our conception of God is flawed. God has emotions. Humans are very simular to God. I don't know why some act like human is an antonym for God. However I can't think of another word to replace regret but I will try to explain the concept of what I mean. God does things that hurts him or causes him to grieve. but he knows this will happen. God also always things to happen that he does not want to happen. Example God knew Adam and Eve would sin but he never bothered to stop them.

Isaiah is a prophecy of Israel being freed from captivity and rhetorically asks who (else but Jesus) has been taught (directly) by God I am a christian yes. But i prefer the designations Son of God, Citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The difference between a Christian and a Muslim is:
Christians believe in Christianity, based on what other people believe. Christians just rely on sources. Christians have no real eye witness accounts. Think about it, the disciples saw from a distance then dissapearred, and Christians believe in the words of random people 300 years after Jesus' crucifixion, and this is just human interpretation and personal beliefs.

The Qur'an was not written down for 150 years after Mohammed's death, and the texts are errant and contradictory from one surah to the next. Math and science do not add up in the Qur'an.

If the Qur'an was "preserved", then why did everyone go scrambling to turn over passages written on rocks, bones and leaves after he died suddenly? Why didn't they just line up the people who memorized it, have them recite it together and write it all down? The fact is, it was compiled and written down on the fly, WITH errors and contradictions.

@capone70 That's not factual. The oldest Gospel was not even written until after the death of Paul, who died around mid 60s AD. So, there's no way they were written 5 years after the 'resurrection.' The Qur'an was written down during the life of the Prophet(PBUH), but was not compiled into a book until the reign of Uthman(ra) less than 10 years after the death of the Prophet(PBUH).

A physical Qur'an does not determine the preservation of revelation(as it is easily memorized), but your 5000 plus manuscripts with hundreds of thousands of discrepancies makes one wonder what logic is there in even holding on to such a book.

If there was any intention for a sequence, you would at least see that the heavens was created 'first' which would have shown the word in it's adjective form أول , but absolutely nothing in those references show any from of sequence.
If you read it differently, cut and paste the translation that shows you the word 'first,' 'last,' or 'second.' Also, let me know which translator is responsible.

That Surrah says SPECIFICALLY that the Earth was created, AND THEN the heavens. The ONLY wiggle room you have out of this argument is to say, "well, the heavens means the sky/atmosphere which is created after the earth". Well, then explain how the stars were created within the atmosphere. You fail. Error 1, 2 and 3 of the qu'ran.

@capone70 You can claim victory in your mind, but the evidence is clear in the texts. There is no intended sequence in the verses linguistically. The example you gave in Arabic does not even prove your point, except you already have a conclusion as to what it should say.
Moreover, the verse talks about the heaven in existence, and being commanded to come together with the earth. Nothing talks about sequence of when the earth was created or when the heavens was in smoke form.

It is a very cheap trick indeed, what Yahya was saying. Nabeel claimed to be propagating Islam in his days of "Islam" yet all muslims or outsiders of muslim do not consider Ahmadiyyah as muslim. So, Nabeel did not actually convert from "Islam to Christianity" as he claimed but "a cheap trick"

Well, there is certainly less of a difference between Qadiani's and Sunni's (and Yahya is neither), then there is between the RCC of Yahya's youth and the evangelical stance of Nabeel today, so Nabeel could have played the same game. As it is, I see Nabeel's Islam as more genuine than Yahya's Catholicism since Nabeel could speak of his stalwart committment and passion for Islam before converting, whereas Yahya had to mention just how superficially Christian his upbringing was.

Ehrman differentiates but not Brown as far as I know. He grants three passages that he says attest to Christs divinity (8:58; 10:30; 20:28) Whose Word is it? p.161
Brown grants 20:28, An Introduction to New Testament Christology, p.188-189. In footnote 267 of that page he notes that Rudolf Boltmann, likewise grants 20:28 as a divine statement. Speaking of Brown, McGrath notes that Brown believes the opening letter of Hebrews preaches Divinity. I have to look more synoptics. Lord bless

Of course Nabeel didn't merely appeal to his experience, though I can see why you wish that is what he did.
But just assuming for a second that that is all Nabeel did, he really didn't need to do much more with Yahya conceding that the Bible teaches the Trinity, the deity of Christ, and that the historical evidence is on the side of Christianity for Christ's crucifixion and death.
With bad opponents like Yahya, who needs good defenders like Nabeel?
