  • @IROCwarriorAMC88 the 4EAT holds it back. The MT can do 5.9 to 60 all day which is above average for a grocery getter. Either way I have a new ride now which would eat this Altima and your IROC for breakfast ;)

  • Nissan Altima for LIFE baby!

  • Million way of drum

  • everytime someone makes a video there has to be some dumb speaker cracking music in the background totally destroyingengine sound.

  • @wneq I'll keep that in mind for next time

  • @f1shbone thanks:)

  • sorry but i have a 04 maxima and i beat the altima SER no problem i even beat the new speed6 you must have been racing a 04 maxima that auto or he cant race

  • got the same car 0 to 60 is 7 sec with traction of

  • is that an auto trans? seems to shift like one anyways.

  • it didnt even go to 0...it looked like you started off at 5mph and let me tell ya, i have tested rolling starts and 0-60 and it makes a HUGE difference on your time..ya might want to try that

  • Does anyone knows how many MPG do this car???

i have the same car but is doin only 10MPG.

    Please anyone.

  • Thats not 0-60 thats a rolling start to 60. I know that sounds picky but it makes a fair difference.

  • and the 2003 3.5 stock has 245 not 240 like the 02

  • It kinda makes little difference. You should see how my Stage 2 Subaru Legacy pulls :)

  • @terminal2k7 and as always the hp is just a BS sales prop. lol. If you run a stock to stock 02 03 04 and 05 they are all the same. Another big gimmick is the SE-R check out the dynos. They are all about the same.

  • @hercules71185 yea your right in my 03 se i took an se-r before

  • @terminal2k7 the 02 dynos and runs the same nissan just wanted a selling point

  • not to bee harsh but i have beaten an 04 maxima and a 03 g35 sedan. they have the same engine. the guy in the g35 was like what you have under the hood , i didnt have anything.

  • What do you drive?

  • lol the same car as you 2003 3.5 se black on black . for now got a nismo cai. nice car ;)

  • i guess my maxima 3.5 is better tuned then an 03 altima 3.5 because i sure smoke em after 40 xD

  • If you're not stock, anything is possible.

  • @f1shbone exactly street racing and comparing cars is pointless you never know what mods are done. I have a simple VIAS delete and drop in K&N filter and beat guys with exhaust and intakes. I can't say all Altimas are faster than g35 sedans based off my races alone.

  • @katokimo it depends on how well the car is kept up and stuff more than the car. The Maxima weighs more and dynos exactly the same. It's slightly slower than the Altima surprising. If you have the CVT it's a different story. CVT>auto to like 100mph, manual to manual is the same.

  • @hercules71185 people sleep on the CVT the altimas and maximas CVT are very quick the 2007 altima 3.5 stock 6.0 0-60

  • its not the same engine as the z the maxima only had the same engine as the z the only reson they made a 3.5 altima because they wanted power but could not afford a maxima

  • You are very poorly informed. The 3.5 Altima engine is in fact the same engine, the VQ that is used on the Maxima, Quest, Infiniti G35 and FX35.

  • yes katokimo its all the same engine its just that the one in the Z is the most highly tuned one and the others arent tuned as much thats all but its all the same engine.

  • Vq has no power what is this guy talking about its same engine as the Z . try saying that to my 03 and see what happens

  • Yo try doing this from a stop not from cruising to show the 0-60 time not the cruising to 60 time bud

  • Cruising speed? Not even 5mph is not cuising speed. If this video does not satifsy you, however, I have others from a complete standstill. Check out my video playlists and you will be able to see them.

  • just get a stick mo fuckas thats what i did

  • Yes, 6700 is what the limiter is. She actually will go as high as that right now. "Manually" shifting an auto is a bad idea. By the way, only the 2005+ Altimas came with a manual-mode automatic 5-speed, the rest of them are 4-speed auto only. Mine is an 03, so no manual mode for me.

  • the 4 speeds are also allow shifting

  • Try shifting yourself instead of leaving it in drive-it looks like the car shifted at a measly 6000 RPM. (Of course, don't even try shifting, steering and filming at the same time...that's common sense.) I hear the rev limiter is at around 6700 RPM or so. Just leave it in first until you actually hit the redline and then flick it into second. You'll shift into a higher RPM range and may see a slight decrease in 0-60 times.

  • Apparently you know nothing about the VQ engines. They have no power topend, so redlining would be completely pointless for power. Notice how he accelerates faster in the 4000-5000rpm band, then accelerates slower as the rpms increase to redline. IIRC the rated 250hp happens at 5500 rpm or so, and beyond that the engine falls flat on its face.

  • @EnervinE I noticed that it's lightning quick from 0-60 but then when I hit 80, it's got nothing. My 95 Altima is just as fast over 60 I think. i have the 03 3.5 SE 5 speed which I think is the fastest Altima produced from 02-06 at least.

  • haha i just did that today with my moms altima when she was on the phone, and all i have is a permit and was my second driving , it was intense =]

  • fuck ya itz fast

  • The engine is bone stock. VQ35DE, 250hp

  • 240 HP is stock cuzz.

  • wtf? this engine must be haxed, lol

  • Holy shit, that's pretty damn fast.

  • its an automatic.
