u can still watch 8 simple rules if u have sky u can watch it on fiver just look on entertaiment untill u see fiver. its on between 4is to 6ish lol

How did it auto direct to the customer channel?

The reason it closed is because abc1tv (UK) couldn't get the full broadcast hours on freeview at nights;reason being,TCM on TUTV took the multiplex space after 6pm that would have been needed for all day broadcast of abc1tv(UK).
