they just released today in gamespot a few videos of gameplay for this game. They feature the voices for Tatsuya, Yukino, the distorted voice of the Joker and a grunt from Lisa: Ha!. Yukino has the same voice actress she had in Persona 1 PSP. Tatsuya has an odd voice when he said close your eyes in the Imitation contact. The Joker(Jun)'s distorted voice sounded like a mixture of man and women's voice. Lisa's sounded like Laura Bailey, Melissa Fahn or Stephanie Sheh.

Its not like I want to play this but what I think most of us wanted to see is persona5 on the ps3 um how many ppl out there own a psp? I don't think ther is a major. This shld have come out on the ps2. Persona is a game that I think is enjoyable how ever it kinda pissd alot ppl off Becaues they make a Remake. @xxshakurzxx I have a psp and they said they will make P5, thanks to the success with cathrine they will make P5, catherine was suppossed to be a test on the new console before they will make P5 on there yet, also im glad atlus brought the remakes so people who never got the chance to play these before in the US can finally play them how they were originally. also one thing I don't like is that they are going to kinda censor hitler in the game and change the swatstickas to iron crosses and such

Sorry but persona 1 and 2 fail in comparions to how real 3 and 4 feel, the whole life choices make your endings difference or the struggle to getting all the max social links is just much more fun than what 1 and 2 have to offer.

@thegingabishouen Sorry, but I'll have to disagree there. As nice as P3 and P4 were, they didn't feel that real to me. The P2 characters felt more real and 3-dimensional to me than the P3 or P4 characters. The problems and personalities of Anna, Yukino, Lisa, and Tatsuya were more relatable than anyone in P3 or P4. There were still some parts of the story that were ridiculous and a bit of a turn-off (Master Persona, etc.) but in the end, I found it more interesting than the later games.

@thegingabishouen Persona 2 is also one of the few JRPGs that actually has a major choice-and-consequence system in regards to how the story progresses which I really liked. I'm gonna agree with you on Persona 1 though, compared to the later games, it feels very bare (even if it can be a nice dungeon-crawler).

@falsepride22 Innocent Sin is the original story, Eternal Punishment is like the alternate reality of the first game.

From what I remember, in the ending of Eternal Punishment, it is revealed that Maya (the lead female character) died in Innocent Sin. The group made a deal with Philemon to create a new reality where Maya would live in exchange for their memories. But Tatsuya refused to forget, resulting to the story of Eternal Punishment.

People say this game is dark but I'd have to disagree. The opening is very ominous and gives off almost a vibe of desperation and hopelessness but the actual game really isn't that bad which is a bit disappointing in a way. I think the new psp opening depicts the game more accurately. Compare this game to Shadow Hearts and it seems like a walk in the park. Still an amazing game none the less.

I looooove Shadow Hearts. But I think the themes and the overall feel of the plot of P2 is a lot darker than Shadow Hearts. Shadow Hearts has a darker feel and a grittiness to it's environments and characters although with it's overall character/monster design but I say in overall plot it's not as dark as the rest of the game leads it to be.

@idontknowyoumitch Haha, glad to meet another fan! I thought the plots of SH and SH: Covenant were extremely dark. I mean in the first one people are turning into demons all the time and "Roger Bacon" is trying to summon God down to Earth to destroy all of humanity and Covenant is about Sapientes Gladios trying to rule the world using dark magic and malice being released during WWI. From the New World's storyline got deep near the end and was too light hearted for its own good anyway.

The mother is Hariti, a demon in Buddhist lore who killed children in order to feed her hundreds of children but later became remorseful and became the protector of children and childbirth. The child she's holding is a child version of Narcissus who was a hunter in Greek mythology known for his beauty and ended up dying after falling in love with himself staring at his reflection in a pool of water.

I didn't say the same hardware, I said the same developers. Especially with Remote Play in mind, and use the same download and system profile service, try and tell me that the hardware design of the PS3 and PSP don't have at least some similarities in design. It can't be too much to make a PSP download, make some tweaks, and have a PS3 download as well.

@VintageBalderdash What we are more likely to see is Sony to encode a PSP emulator for the PS3 and that is not likely as Sony wants to sell PSPs. There are simulatries for the dashboard for the PSP and the PS3 but the OS and Hardware are quite different. I also want to let you know the gameplay for Persona 1 is largly diffrant from Persona 2 which is worlds apart from Persona 3 and 4. The difrances are as vast as the diffrances from Nocturne to strange journey.

Especially the ones like Persona 1, that are already on PSN, it's the same hardware developers, and they both use the same exact online service. @raven839 There's a well known translated version of it that you can download for a psx emulator which I did quite awhile ago. I'm happy this is finally being offically released and can't wait to fork out 50 dollars for it on release day like I should of been doing over 10 years ago.

I can't wait to find out if there will be full voice acting to the main story like Persona 3 and P3P
