creative deads, i didnt know so much gore and horror movies like this before and 3 years ago in my birthday a friend give me 4 hellraiser movies and now i love Pinhead
I was wondering that too. All the bodies turn up later so it's not the same as what happened to Frank Cotton. Maybe it was just target practise for him.......
Pinhead was expelled from hell by Leviathan at the end of Hellraiser II. He is in it for himself and not to ferry souls to hell anymore at this point.
@reivenlocke so does that mean they are just naturally dead, or can they still be sent to hell since they were killed by cenobites. i have not seen number 2 or 3 so i can't really know. i seen number 1 and 4 and death scenes from 2 and 3. one thing i find never makes sense, is pinhead generally chases anyone he sees with chains and shreds them. yet for some odd reason there is always one person he doesn't do it to, and not surprisingly that person escapes. is there a reason for that?
If he is in service to Leviathan, then they are sent to hell, but it can only be the people that solve the Lament Configuration (the Box). Since Pinhead was expelled from his service, he no longer feels the need to follow the rules, therefore he kills wantonly.
As for those he kills, it is said that a person killed by a Cenobite has a 1% chance of becoming a Cenobite themselves. Apparently, this holds true whether or not you are a servant of Leviathan, as he converted a few.
@reivenlocke yea but one flaw about pinhead is 9 times out of 10 he'll have chains miraculously appear out of nowhere to tear you. even this scene shows it, and i know in this movie i seen clips on youtube where someone is chased everywhere and he never uses chains to grab her. he just walks after her and gets killed for it. and i know he did that in the first one and the 4th one also where he does it to everybody except for like 1 person. is he like intentionally not trying to kill them?
Yeah, it seems that he has a weakness for Kirsty Cotton, but when the chains immediately came out and caught Kari Wuhrer's character in Hellraiser 8, I was like, "It's about damn time Pinhead became indiscriminate!"
@reivenlocke yea exactly. i know freddy sometimes made it harder than other times to escape him but he did not make it a 99% guarantee that you will die the moment you sleep whereas he just kills almost everyone the moment they opened the box. i guess he must really have slept in for work that morning.
