In some cases, the hi hat doesn't really need to be in in sync with the timing of the beat, it can be used as a fill in and kind of a background noise, to create an auditory hallucination, sort of like in the song 'when the levee breaks', the hi hat sounds as though it is being hit more than it actually is. Just saying to the people who don't think it is good because it isn't exactly like John Bonham's recording, you guys are not smart. John Bonham is my favorite drummer, but he did not play this solo the same every time. Just the same as guitarists usually don't play their solos exactly like the recordings.

Regarding MG4150's solo... I feel it was very brave of him to make it his own. He could have played Bonham's solo note for note, but chose not to even though he knew whatever he played would be compared to Bonham's solo. It took a lot of guts to do his own thing here and I could not have greater admiration than I have for him.
