  • I tried this on one side of my windscreen. It did clean the glass, but also left scratches in some spots? I used 0000 steel wool as you did, dry. I'm not game to try anymore, what am I doing wrong?

  • @rbrtvcs I've never heard of it scratching before. I just did a little Googling, and while there seem to be some people who question using steel wool, others swear by it. Some also think you should never us a razor blade on glass, and others do it all the time. One suggestion was to use wet steel wool (of course it will then rust, so pitch it afterwards). I will annotate the video with a note about it. I also just read about buying a "Poli-Flex Rubberized Clayblock" for cleaning.

  • Very helpful video, thanks!

I noticed you used a paper towel to clean the inside glass.

I've found that newspaper works really well for this and cost a lot less.

I've used newspaper for many years now on outside, inside and rear

car windows. Give it a try sometime, you will like it.

  • @TheBluesmanMudcat Thanks for the tip! I do remember using newspaper to clean windows when I was a kid, but forgot all about it, and haven't done it in years. I'll be sure to start doing it again. :)

  • whelp im going to walmart xD

  • Just use baking soda

  • Wow, never would have thought of steel wool. I will try this. After a few years, it does seem like even pressure washers at the car wash don't spots off.

  • @PigeonTech i tried that with the pressure water didn't work haha ill have to try this too

  • One of the best 'how to' bids on YouTube. Cheers!

  • I hate to be nosy but would you consider giving a tour of the interior of your MH and any little hints, helps and timesavers you use?

  • @croshayallday Glad you liked the glass video. We are planning to make more videos about various topics both inside and outside the RV. Do you by any chance have a white Corian kitchen sink? (many RVs do) We have one, and since Corian is pretty porous, it gets stained and dingy-looking after a while. No amount of scrubbing gets it white again. We're planning to make our next video about a little trick that quickly and easily makes it bright white again. Stay tuned for more! Thanks.

  • Now that you have your windows all done you can come to my house. I have a Jeep a pickup and the motorhome you can shine up for me! (kidding)

But... I am going to do this tomorrow as we are getting ready to fly south in a few days! Thank you so much!

  • Great video thanks for this!! I don't have an RV but I intend to use this on my mustang today. My windshield is horrible so even if it helps a bit i'll be happy! I use invisible glass as well, the spray kind, works better than anything else I've used

  • @Mark37251 haha, same reason im here only its for the glass on the rear

  • In the past I've used Bon Ami with pretty awesome results, I'll have to try this method next time! Now all I have to figure out is a miracle cure to fix the fogging in our double pane RV windows and I'll be good to go. ;)
