  • i got one the same and id like to find a place that i could get parts for one

  • @April19931 Napa Auto Parts has some parts for these engines. NAPA part numbers: Ignition coil: Part #185181, Ignition Points and Condensers kit: Part # 185006, Spark Plugs: Champion 825 (J4C). They also sell the carburetor overhaul kit, water pump impeller and other parts.

  • What oil mixture do you run this engine at? I have a 1965 one and am unsure what mixture to use.....

  • @Jumpinjacks1 With the new oil it's all 50:1. I tried running mine with the 30 weight at the old ratio and it didn't work out very well. But with the best new oil @ 50:1 it works great!

  • @ctfsh123 Be careful about running 50:1 premix ratio in that engine, you might lose the bottom end. They don't have roller and ball bearings on the bottom end like a modern two stroke engine. They have babbit and bronze plain bearings that need a lot of oil. I run 24:1 premix ratio with TC-W3 oil in mine.
