i dont know if the meaning of this poem is what i think it is, but i can relate to it. its a great and very moving poem.

i was only 4 when my sister died, she slept in the same room as me then not long after that my parents separated and ive always felt that i had to chose between them but whatever i chose would hurt someone.

and i always felt it was my fault in a way, it was like i felt that if i could have done something to stop my baby sister from dieing maybe they wouldn't have separated

don't ever think that something was completely out of your control was your fault. its not ur fault that ur baby sister died, and you couldn't stop your parents from seperating if u wanted 2. they had problems between their relationship, and it didn't work out. so worry about your life, and how u affect other people around you, and live life to its fullest(:

I can tell you one thing everything you wrote in this poem happend to me but instead of 10 years ago it happend to years ago and this year sorta....with my friends and your right you don't what you have til its gone. I know the feeling...it sucks. U have no control over these situations and it haunts u the rest of ur life. I hope it hurts less in 20 years but I hate to be the voice of reality and say it won't. Just know as much as u want to blame urself, it's really not ur fault. It's not their's either. It's just that life is fucked up sometimes and I don't know how such strong love can die but it does. I'm sure I didn't make u feel any better but I don't either...so there u go!:).

emma this is so sad and beautiful. it made me cry because i remember when it was happening and you were so little and helpeless, and because my parents got divorced when i was little too, and i wanted to help you but i couldn't do anyhting to help.

Yeah, my parents are divorced but it was when I was like 3 but ttuff happened a lot after that and I was terrified of seeing my dad being so sad : ( but did your parents just get divorced or is it something else?
