Personally, i think this is absolutely boring, uninspiring, emotionally disconnected and musically uninteresting, and from one musician's [subjective] point of view, i find it a bit shit. Lyrically, i'd rather she wrote in her own language as then she might make it a little less generic and dull. But then again, i listen to singers like Joanna Newsom and Jeff Buckley, and you might find them shit... =]

@Huxflux22 It's her real name. Although "Marlin" is the name of a fish in english in Norwegian it's a variation of the name "Malin". They're pronounced the same way. The "r" in "Marlin" is mute. And as far as I know she's a pure blooded northern Norwegian girl.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Lene's voice is almost as husky as Mariah's but the way the former sings is quite different from that the latter does. Lene's controlled way of singing really appeals to me, and I, personally, put Lene above Mariah. I hope to visit the Land of the Fjords sometime in the future.
