If you look at a good deal of 80's vids when the bands really hit the big time, a lot of them seem stilted anyway. He was just having some fun, plus this band actually has a song in the original Halloween too. Listen to when Laurie is in the car with Annie, the songe before Don't Fear the Reaper. They play fun music.
