I don't hate God because it's not real. I went to church for 12 years and i don't hate Christians. I have a desire to understand people and especially "why" they believe the things they do.

I'm not a "Biblical scholar" and don't need to be. The book is supposed to be the perfect word of god so anyone can read it at any time and form an opinion.

@Shawnium101 Mike Portnoy never "left" Dream theater for any band considering that transatlantic existed in the early 2000's ( 2000 - 2003 ) and regrouped in 2009. Mike left Dream theater in 2010. Since Dream Theater have existed since 1989, transatlantic were a side-project mike had. It wouldn't surprise me though if he went further back into his more "progressive roots" since this is where he really belong.
