  • Can I ask something. Where can I found the music of sweet kate? thank you

  • @017yanna if you go to a Google search and type ["sweet kate" filetype:pdf ] without the square brackets and with the exact spacing, you will get several versions of music for Sweet Kate in the search results.

  • @Rearda Thank you so much we will gonna perform this by march. Thanks again <3

  • Well done class at Wootton B

  • Sacred happiness and joy in the faces of the little kids

  • they look like thinking "What is going to be next?" all the time..

  • @hanush1 That's because they were on a week's summer school, doing dance, crafts, grooming and other stuff. Children who aren't enrolled at the Wootton Bassett dance school are also welcome to attend, and it's an opportunity for the dancers from different ages and stages to get together and have some fun.

  • Highland dancing is waaay better :P

  • @EmmaaFarquhar Fighting talk! :D

  • Awesome ballet music youtube.com/watch?v=ZutsW1xhyA4

  • umm I believe Sweet Kate was finally written down by Robert Jones (d. 1617) if that is any help.

  • @teamlegitdragon And I browsed and found that 'Sweet Kate' was printed in ALL editions of the Dancing Master from 1670 onwards - appearently a smash hit of the Early Baroque... The figure with its foot and handworks is amazing and very special, but has the old order Up - Siding - Arming as the 16thCentury dances.

  • what is the name of this traditional dance? what is the name of the song?

  • can i get the composer's name for this song?

  • It was sourced from 'Sharp - Country Dance Tunes' (1909). No authorship is available, so I think it must be 'traditional'.

  • @Rearda for midi file, go to rearda.webs.com and go to audio files tab.

  • The music is Sweet Kate, and the relevant midi file has been sent to the viewer who requested it, by kind response from the English Folk Dance and Song Society.

  • @Rearda

Can you please share the midi file with me. I can't seem to find the music. thank you

  • @Rearda

Could I get the Midi file too?

It would save me a lot of work.
