I've been doing this trick for the last two days, and I had about half and half success. Maybe it's because I'm new to plinking, but it seems that the speed on which you press M after S is very strict (not too fast, not too slow... just right). Is this right? or is there another factor I'm not considering?

@LONGSHOTfilmes The trick is holding forward more so than the plink timing but you still have to do it kinda slow

Hi SmexyMillz, I spent about an hour trying to bold cancle and I get it around 30% of the time. I'm use to fast input ... when would you say is the best time to input qcf.s.m ... also I've found greater success when holding f+s a little bit longer than usual before the plink cancel. Do you hold f+s or do you go neutral for a moment? Thanks.

When you start the final combo, after the volcano you jump with M, then QCF+M, then what's next? M,H or is it H,H... This combo is one of Dante's most important, however it used to work for me in the past (I don't know how) and now it doesn't... do you think it has to do with the timing??? Any advice will be more than welcome.

@vv4rio Plinking can be very risky. It can be done but it has to be as soon as you input forward H to do tye inputs. If you see in the vid, Smexy does it almost simultaneously after inputting forward H. In a sense think of it as not making Dante recover during the stinger. To get the same results as in the video, after inputting forward H I immediately press M+S then zig movement and M+S again to cancel in volcano. To me this is much easier since I am pressing the same inputs twice. Practice.

@DXcellence718 It's possible, you just have to move some buttons around. I got rid of my P1+P2 button to make it my P2 and for L1 I put S it's a straight up sliding motion like in tekken. You can get it to come reliably, with that configuration pretty easily.

no you can't u need to bold cancel because if u dont bold cancel he will put his sword back ( he cant do anything after the stinger that is why u need to bold cancel and turn it to another move just like in this video )

Dude I heard an easy way to stinger/bold cancel/ teleport is -

Forward+Heavy, Down + Special + Attack, Special + Down

The second part of that input - pressing down at the same time as Bold Cancel, counts as the first down input for the teleport. I was just trying it, its actually quite fluid on a pad too

Capcom should allow you to play In practice at 1/4 speed like in brawl so that I can learn character matchups better. It would help you learn priority of certain moves to put complete confidence in your character.
