We just moved up there a few months ago- vacation home that is. Is there really a hill behind 211 resturant? Can anyone go there? Is it private property? Is it good for sledding??
I was really lucky, when I was a Kid, we spent every summer at Black Lake. My Grandfather was Harry Codde (Coddes Beach) some of my foundist memorys of childhood was the time I had at Black Lake! I need to go back, hopefully someday soon!
Where do you live? How fortunate for you to have someone who lives on the lake. I would love that!! I have relatives who live on Glen Lake on the west side of the state, but I prefer the quietness of Black Lake.

We always vacation up here, we stay on Black Lake. Every year at the same time and it still hasn't gotten old!

im right next to black lake river i dont live up there but my grand parents do and family go in and out of it
