I too love the originality and playfulness of this two guitar version of Maxixe.
Recently I heard in live performance arrangement of Maxixe for two guitars by Carlos Barbos-Lima. He played this arrangement with Berta Rojas and it too was
interesting.
Stil I love the original the most but htis piece is very playful and its nice too hear
alternatives by such talented guitar player-composers as Dyens and Barbosa-Lima.
There is only one Roland Dyens. I saw him in person improvising on Villa Lobos theme. He is trul a blessing to all of the classical guitar players and lovers throughout the world. We love you Rolland!
