my friends dads seadoo speedster 200 i think 455 hp the left bucket boat from doing that soo when he goes straight the boat will just turn and we've had people fly off the boat. can't you damage the engine while your hitting reverse in full speed?

@thevplayer1 No you cant damage the engine! :) the thing is that the engine is doing the same thing while going in reverse and going normal. while hitting the reverse you only make the water go forward instead of backwards :)

@Kardizzy yes u can damage the propeller, engine and everything that comes with you..you're applying opposite force directly to something that is already moving at higher rpms.. It's like saying the car motor is running normal but u put the car from D to Reverse on the freeway...This rotax motors do have a direct transmission and shaft that brakes by time on normal use..let alone if you're abusing it

No sea doo boats don't work that way. Reverse is not engaged by switching the rotation of the impeller. Instead a gate comes down and forces water backwards. Know your boats! The only thing that might be damaged would be the reverse gate from putting too much force on it

It does not have and propeller that i down in the water, ofc i know that it have an propeller inside the boat... When going in reverse, you put down something that making the water from the engine go forward instead of backwards.. do you really think that i thought that they would put a fucking aircraft's engine in a boat ? that's just retarded of you.

I have a Yamaha lx210 from about 40mph pull the throttle back to zero but the buckets down(reverse) then bring the revs back up you can control the dive by the amount of throttle. My wife did not talk to me for the rest of the day ...peace at last!!

i do it in my all the time u go about 35-40 mph and throw it in reverse. the bow of the boat will start to sink the put it back in froward and it will dive like a rock
