I say nonsense to anyone who doesn't like the music made by this Quattroporte. I love it. It sounds like a Maserati should sound. I love how it growls and pops with the addition of the Tubis. This car sounds much better then it does stock. Stock Quattroportes sound too high pitched with the Ferrari 4.3 V8. and 430's themselves sound like crap. They sound like a POS Honda Civic with a cheap chrome muffler on it.
Yeah. The F430 engine sounds a lot different because it has a Flat Plane crankshaft. Which is essentially two 4 bangers bolted together. This kind of engine can rev faster and produce more peak horse power, but it produces much less torque at low revs, and. Thats why they are mainly found on racing cars.(including F1 V8s. Another car that used to have an Flat Plane Crankshaft V8 was the TVR Cerbera V8.
I think the video camera used just doesn't have that great of a mic. It does sound a bit too high pitched at the beggining. ANY car/exhaust sounds way better in person.
I personally think it sounds great. This is how the factory should make it sound out of the box. You shouldn't have to spend 4 grand extra for a better exhaust.
where can someone buy this exhaust ? i searched the same tubi exhaust setup and it doesnt sound like this ?
