I dont see how people find this game good/scary? I thought it was really shit, I only finished it cause I started it. It was boring and I was waiting for the scares but they just barely ever happened, and sometimes when they did, it was a 1 second moment that wasn't even scary and left me thinking, "That's it?"

I don't think this game deserves to be called a horror game. You can call it a first person shooter game with horror elements, but thats all it is. Practically nonexistent horror elements

Then I saw him play it, he just ran through everything like he was playing call of duty, he just ran past all the scares. plus it's not just the scares that make it scary, a lot of the time it's just the atmosfere in the game that has you so on edge that you freak with the slightest noise. Which is also why I think they made the levels in such a way that practically everything is mobile. I accidentally kicked a bucket and jumped like nuts

FEAR 2 felt scarier but of course it had less scary parts than FEAR 1.

@warriorblood Yeah, F.E.A.R. games are my favourite FPS, but what they did to Project Origin is sad :(. PC version has no dynamic shadows, which takes away all that scary climat. Ofc u still can get scared from time to time, but it's not the same as the first game. What else? Well i don't like Replica's voices, in F.E.A.R. they were way better, same with guns' sounds, especially shotgun. And AI? I don't think it's better than in first one. But i will say it again, STILL F.E.A.R. games rox!
