From the looks of it, MW3 limited itself to the same customization that there was in MW2. For instance the reticle on a guns red dot. They all seem to look the same in all CoD:XP vids that are up on youtube.

Is that something that was shown/talked about at CoD:XP, or is that something that comes in after lv.30?

I don't see why everyone is actually looking forward to MW3, it's going to be the exact same broken unbalanced bullshit that CoD has been for the last four years(MW1 on up). The same game-breaking issues appearing game after game, year after year. Activision/Treyarch/IW don't care about their customers or supporting their products. These issues are never fixed. One or two overpowered weapons that clearly outshine all others, lag issues, bad hit detection, dashboarding, and campy gameplay.

One of the things that I'd like to know about (and that nobody seems to have talked about yet) is leveling up. With Black Ops, leveling up seemed to happen pretty quickly. Within one match, you could hit level 4 or 5 and start creating custom classes. What about MW3?

I think the single player (my favorite part of just about any game) will be the real deciding factor over whether I can justify full price for a re-release of a game (about)2 years old. Now if they explored some interesting themes, settings and mechanics in the campaign, I'll consider it. But if the design ethic of the multiplayer is anything to go by, I wont get my hopes up. @puttyhands well its not a 2 year re-release of mw2. 1, the only real thing thats slightly similar is the skin of the game, which is an extremely polished well made skin, yes it looks like mw2 BUT mw2 is the best looking call of duty. Black ops looks terrible and cod4 looks old, mw2 is the sexiest looking cod game. 2, they've removed the bulshit from mw2 and added in the cod4 gun on gun action

aimbots are mainly a pc thing, there are very very rarely aimbots on xbox or ps3 and they are on w@w and cod4 which are hacked to shit right now :/

tbh there are a lot less hidey holes and camp spots used in mw2 than black ops .....

@TezonHD we are are on two different universe's when it comes to comparisons. Everything you've said so far sounds like it's from oppisite world. Mw2 had the whole ac-130, inf. exsplosions, people hacking in a dlc gametype, aimbots out the wazzoo, AND no dedicated servers; not a big deal for consolers but it was a big deal for pc.I have literally seen 0% (I'm sure there are some btw) hackers, cheaters and griefers in Black ops.

I was really dissapointed when I saw the gameplay for MW2,. The UI was undistinguishable from mw2 except for the Killstreak system which looked clumped and odd. Overall (just from what I've SEEN; you haters) The game looks like a copy paste of MW2. The guns, same, killstreaks, same. I feel like they've missed out on a great opportunity to do something new and different.
