i learned the intro to that song in about a 2 hours of practice (total... not straight haha) i use my fret hand on the red and greens my strum hand index, middle, and ring for the yellow, blue, orange. it's the same pattern over and over and once you figure it out all you need to do is make it muscle memory. it's funny because I still can't beat the song but i can 100% the intro haha

I don't think anyone really calls this "double tapping". I think most people just call it tapping. One handed is usually just HO/PO.

And for anyone who's wondering, tapping is much much easier than the rubber band once you get used to it. I went from failed rubber band attempts to getting 96-98% on the intro at full speed in just under an hour.

Once you have the intro down, it'll be the least of your worries. Then you just have to worry about all those friggin' triplets in Twin Solo.

this is a much easier way to tap the intro, you need to hold the green fret with your index finger, use you middle finger for both the red and yellow frets, and use your middle finger on your strumming hand to do the blue and orange frets. trust me, the fewer fingers the easier in this case.

strum the red and then switch to green and start tapping. You can also strum the red while holding down the green and just pull off red. Either way it works. Also when doing the elbow strum, try not to use to much force. A light drop of your arm will do.

for all of you people who think you can only beat thru the fire and flames by double tapping, ive beaten it by holding 1 finger on the green the whole time and on the same hand hit the buttons. Sure it may not be as accurate but it is a whole lot easier than learning how to double tap

If you want to beat through the fire and flames on expert, or at least get through the intro, then do yourself a favor and practice. But, you don't have to practice on the system - do it anywhere! just remember that the pattern goes:

2 3 4 2 3 4 5 4 5 3 4 2 5 3 4 3 and then just repeats. it's also easier to remember it this way:

1 2 3 1 2 3 4 3 4 2 3 1 4 2 3 2 and remember to hold down your first finger. Also, try doing left hand 1st and 2nd finger, right hand 3rd 4th and 5th finger.

about the rubber band around the green, i think my solution is better, i just installed a switch that when i flick it on it turns on the green. Though the installation wold be complicated for some people, ot would be easy for anyone with a soljering iron and an elctric drill.
