  • Thank you som much for all your hairstyles. I made this one on my sister on her wedding day, and she looked beautiful. Thank you!

  • Hooray for sparkly googahs! I am absolutely horrible at using bobby pins, but I may just try this one...but perhaps without the braids at first. Thank you for another great video!

  • its a really nice hairstyle but seeing you twisting your hair so tightly like that just makes me cringe >.< doesn't it hurt?

  • @wizardsyay Nope. I am one of those people who are very tender headed. I find that if it's twisted up tight and secure, it feels better throughout the day. When I do a loose one, it'll end up catching one or two strands and hurting, so I have to take it down and do it all over again.

  • Oh, I just did a variation of this. DH loves it because I can now do another donut bun (my rope braid bun doesn't look like one anymore). I do need another foot and a half or so to be able to do this 'do justice, though.

  • I like the hair---mine is probably a good two feet shorter than yours so I'm a little jealous---but I love the pink lipstick you're wearing! Do you remember where you got it?

  • @bunnyshooz It's what I always wear when I don't wear red - the new cam just made it look a lot more pink than it does in RL. Anywhoodles, it's Revlon Colorstay in # 526. I got it at WalMart.

  • very nice :)

    i will try it :))

  • Beautiful!!

  • Where did you get the 2 combs from?

  • Yayyyyy for tangle teasers! I'm getting a purple sparkly one for christmas :)

  • Beautiful! I really love your videos, although I cannot redo most of your styles as my hair is too short (about shoulder length) for all that braiding. But still I enjoy watching this. Your hair is just awsome!

  • One of my friends gave me one of those bookmarks today that's like a metal rod with a curve on the end. It had a dangly string of beads on the end that reminded me of your funky dangly eBay hair sticks, so I bunned my hair and have been using the bookmark as a hair stick all day. Thanks for the inspiration, Torrin!!

  • @mokster5 I've seen those - and though, wow, that would make a nice hairstick! LOL. Good to know I was correct in my assumption.

  • My only wish/comment/complaint is that my hair is only about half as thick as yours or most of the hair tutorial gurus. Much harder to make it look right. Anyone out there with long, THIN(ish) hair help? Many blessings to you Torrin.

  • You are SO lucky to have a hair so long and beautiful! Do you have any tips on how to keep it healthy and shiny?

  • @tatimar98 I just did a Tag vlog on Long Hair Care - and further back there's a vid on my General Hair Care. There are also a couple of FAQ vids, where I answer questions I get a lot. :o) Between all of them, there is all my hair knowledge.

  • It's so beautiful!!!(:

  • Your hair looks so pretty and soft in this video! Any change in routine?

  • @lilliankat123 Nope. Just a change in camera.

  • Thanks for all the braided hairstyles! My hair isn't as long as yours, but a lot of these still work out great. I love learning new ways to wear it for school :)

  • Totally doing this for family xmas party! :-)

  • I have short hair (shoulder lenght) and I'm trying to let it grow more.

But I still watch every single video you do. I love it!

  • I love this style. I think it would be quite easy to do as well. Thank you for sharing.

  • Super super pretty! :)

  • i like this is so simple! yet very beautiful and chique!

  • Again, another AWESOME hair syle. You totally rock lady.

  • I love this style. BTW, I love your bracelet too. :)

  • @KhaosEmblem Thanks! Isn't it fab? I got it in Vegas at the Luxor in some little shop that had nothing in it but rhinestone encrusted stuff...totally my mecca.

  • I very rarely comment on videos but this has to be one of my favorites!! I am differently going to try this very soon. Thanks for all the great videos!

  • @Mom2jdh Well then, I am very happy to have broken your non-commenting streak! I hope it works for you!

  • my fave hairstyle you have done yet

  • @xoxoshorteexoxo Oh, wow! Thank you!

  • It's very pretty :D thanks for the tutorial! The HD really looks nice. And i appreciate you dressing up ;D

  • @pinkblackwitch Thank you. I appreciate you appreciating me. Seriously.

  • I wore this hairstyle to a xmas party today and got tons of compliments!! thanks torrin!!

  • @WitchieBelle Hells yes! High fives all around!

  • I love this. Very pretty. Also, no one at the grocery store knows that you aren't on your way to a FABULOUS party!!!

  • @unsweetteaplease Yes! That is true. I MIGHT be going someplace fabulous, or coming from someplace fabulous. They don't need to know that it's just there and home, right?

  • This is gorgeous! I've always wanted a modern Grecian hairstyle, but I never knew how to accomplish it!

  • While I really like this hairstyle, I think my hair is too short to make it work. Do you think you could do some hairstyles that can be done on any length hair? By any length I'm talking about shoulder length or longer? My hair length is to the end of my bra if I pull it as far as it will go. I also get frustrated sometimes by these types of hairstyles because I have angles and the shortest angle ends right at the jaw line. Thanks! Despite all of this you look beautiful with the hairstyle :)

  • @FrozenUSA The thing is I don't have any length hair to work with - I have this hair. There are lots of gals on YT with much shorter hair than mine and they are doing fabulous and wonderful tutorials. I can't really adapt it to short hair, because my hair is not short. Many of my hairstyles have been adapted from shorter hairstyles - I had to figure out how to make them work for me. The only advice I can give you is to muck about with your hair and see what you can come up with.

  • This is SO GORGEOUS!

I'm totally going to try and give this a go! I think this is totally doable on BSL hair too! You're on a roll Heather! I love all the new vids you've been putting out! XO

  • Very pretty Torrin :)

  • loooove it!!!!

  • your hubby shouldn't be making fun, he should say hubba hubba! hehe

  • @mommydiab That's what I thought. However he did not see the sense in me getting all dressed up and having fancy hair just to go to the grocery store. I don't go anywhere else! Sometimes we gals just want to look pretty, you know? Besides, I knew my YT peeps would appreciate the effort.

  • Wow! This is amazing, it looks so delicate and complex. Wish I had the patience to try it!

  • Gorgeous. Reminds me of Spartacus! Loved that show. Oh, And your makeup looks super pretty! :)

  • @Moonlightlove31 I love Spartacus too! I've been futzing around with some of the styles and some of this came from that experimentation. One of these days I'm going to do a full on Spartacus 'do. And thanks about the make-up. I used to wear so much - then I cut back and now when it's time to try different colors, I get nervous. :o)

  • Love it!

  • Gorgeous! Merry Christmas to you, too. :)

  • I love your hair tutorials! I am growing my hair long. It is about 33 inches at the moment. But, I think I will need it to grow a lot longer to do lots of your beautiful styles. Not long now! Thanks for your awesome videos.

  • I love it, I definitely try it, hoping my hair won't be too short <3

  • I really, really love this hairstyle, this looks absolutly beautiful. I'll have to try that at some points. And those forks look pretty too!

  • I love the 'braid cheat', that's brilliant

  • @Loepsie Thanks. I keep trying to figure out things for my shorter haired gals, but it's hard since I don't have much shorter hair around to work with (the old man lets me experiment from time to time, and that's where this came from...well the braids, anywhoodle.) I also hate that by the time my braids get back up around my head, they're kinda puny, so this fixed that was well.

  • I wish I still had my childhood hair! I would so try these styles. When I was a kid, I had kind of semi-dark strawberry blonde hair that was tailbone length. But it was tangling so much and I had so much trouble brushing it, I asked to get my hair cut. What a mistake... I went in with slightly wavy hair, a similar texture to what I have seen yours look, and I walked out with super tightly wound curls. Apparently the weight kept it straight all that time, and once the weight was gone... yea.

  • @D0N0tJudgeMe That happened to me too. Before my last big chop (from almost hip to chin) my hair was poker straight. Then it went all wavy and has never recovered.

  • You look GORGEOUS.

  • @lavendertwilight08 Thank you. I felt pretty and I tried explaining to the old man that sometimes girls just need to feel pretty. He rolled his eyes. LOL.

  • I will diffenently be rocking this look at my Cousin's wedding!! *one of the bride's maids and my strict orders are to have my hair up*

  • @gothvamp133 Well, up-do's are VERY conducive to getting your groove on come reception time!

  • @torrinpaige

Yes! Plus my hair is very thick and curly so, it will look frizzy by the end of the night if I was going to have it loose. Up do's are a major help to me!

  • Very beautiful. A true gem among hairstyles

  • omg wheeeeere did you get those forks?!?!? I need them.

  • @AnimaSola3o4 Ebay - the seller is kelly 0366 - Her store is called BeautyStoryFlagship (she's in China) and she's got a ton of awesome things at exceedingly reasonable prices.

  • @torrinpaige omg i think I died and went to sparkly hair toy heaven!!!! TY!!!

  • wow i marvel at your hairstyling abilities. i can't wait to try styles like this when my curls grow out. right now i am hanging around BSL.

  • beautiful hair ! beautiful woman :) God bless you and your family fully and Richly :)

    ~Merry Christmas~ and ~Happy New Year

    huggggggggggggggggggsssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @ladysmithrose Thanks! Hugs to you and yours as well!

  • Really pretty!

My hair is waist length, but layered....so I am not sure if I can pull this off, but I am going to give it a try! So pretty

  • @BrielleCroft88 Yeah, layers are tough. I grew all of mine out because the braid shred was miserable. Try some oil on your braids, or just go with the shred. A lot of the red carpet styles use frayed braids and such and still end up looking pretty snazzy. :o)

  • very nice :)
