Well just imagine this but instead of clawing them you save time by using Explosion mobs of sharks or targets. Explosion is slow but a great finisher as its a F/P Mage's only REAL cast and kill mob skill if you know what I mean.

35 monsters x 1218 is 42.6k dmg...

then whit explosion you do for him about 3200 dmg x 5 is16k dmg so which trains faster ?

I hit 6k every time with a Explosion.

Mist can be faster, but not the only way to go.

And if an Explosion mage knows what he's doing, he can train faster, it has been proven before.

Seal - Makes monsters unable to use magic attacks. So basically they can only dmg you with touch dmg.

I have a f/p mage who's at 114 atm..

lately its been slow getting exp...

chrunchyshampoo here's what i did:

at lvl 70 i did mist till i got it at lvl 28. thats around lvl 81 something (PPQ and Squids at 75)

why lvl 28?

because lvl 30 mist has the same area of effect and duration..but slightly increased poison per second effect and base damage..

i got up to lvl 85 from lvl 70 in about a week.

provided that my goal would be at least 2 lvls a day :)

and thats with 2x exp.

and as soon as you hit 85ish go straight to the first skelegon map and try to keep 2 channels misted.

its easier to maneuver around the first map than the 2nd one and peak because there's less spawn but its okay for ur lvl cuz after all ur still just starting :)

take it easy and before you know it ull be 105 :D

and if you think you can take on the second skelegon map. i recommend that you have at least lvl 28 mist, lvl 28 explosion, and a few points in seal :)

and btw i dont think im maxing elemental comp because i will be using either fire demon OR paralyze when i do bosses :)

if you dont have decent Fire demon YET you can still make do with Fire arrow if you maxed it (in my f/p i did ) so i maxed spell booster and now im working on elemental resistance.

I'm not sure about this, my f/p is at lvl 84 but I've talked to a lot of f/p arch mages. They all recommend maxing it. I've heard 25+ is good enough for russell squids, but if you want to train and level faster, you should max the skill so you can train at skelegons and nest golems. What server are you in? and is it GMS?

lvl 1 explosion has poor mobbing range

totally useless if ur planning to snipe~train

and its weak at lvl 1 so its useless to train on h/voodoos so id recommend to stick to FA.

I advise f/p mages to place the 1st sp point to mist and keep pumping points to it till it gets to lvl 28.

i agree that lvl 1 mist wont help much but if u put 3 sp points to it per lvl the dureation of the poison increases =)

so...lvl 1 ~> lvl 4 = +4 seconds

lvl 7 = +8 seconds and so on

I think u could train faster though with being less carefull but having Seal, even though training at sharks will always be a bit dangerous because of the dispell. It's a shame there's only 1 shark map cause all F/p's can't fit in just 1 map. . .

I used Maple Lama Staff to increase my hp. If you're wondering about the MA, no worries. I can even use wooden stick here LOL. All I need to do is to deal that remaining 1 hp to the poisoned sharks. =)

Actually there is no need for seal, as long as u can dodge good, like what you mentioned. That's the beauty of poison mist. You can deal damage to the mobs, yet they won't retaliate. =)
