  • excelent work!

  • hi, what are your pedal settings for the fist part? what effects do you use? ... and what are the little black poles??? tnks

  • super geil :D

  • @pinkesgluecksbearchi haha i had to look that one up. now i know. thanks!

  • How much did it cost you for all of the pedals and shtuff that you have??? i really want to get some

  • @Boshunz i bought them all on ebay. you can find some pretty good deals. good luck!

  • nicee!!!!

  • well done!

  • Is that a Stagg brand jag clone? Sounds really good. Nice job on the cover, also :)

  • @ianae86 it IS a stagg! i was in love with it the first time i played it.... now it's alright =D haha thanks for the comment!

  • awesome tone on that jaguar man

  • You need to learn prior to the beat and then swell in on the beat. Mike does this really well in Pardon Me. Its all about pre-empting the strum and then swelling in at the right time.

  • that is AMAZING

i really wish i could learn to pay with those sound effects like that

  • awesome!!! just curious, what are those black poles sticking out of the ground. i know Einziger has those too, i just never really knew what they were, so......what are they? ;)

  • haha those are called littlite lamps. they're just used to see the board better. he actually took them off his board. i guess with all the stage lights, you don't need those lamps. i love them cause i don't need to turn on all my lights in the room

  • ha ha. thanks! ;)

  • slow down on the verses

  • yeah i know my internal tempo really sucks.

  • thats was cool..

  • pretty good even though u look like u gotta stick in ur ass. loosen up a bit

  • hahaha that's what i said when i saw this video. don't worry guys. i'm working on some more covers. i'll try to loosen up more

  • good job. how u do those sounds.

  • Effects are good. But you are playing the main chords wrong. Only half the chords are 5ths. The others are variated voicings.

  • what are these variated voicings

  • the chords are wrong

  • yo nice cover man what kind of overdrive pedal or distortion pedal do you use during the chorus and what setting is on? keep it up man rock on

  • thanks for the comment. it's the ibanez ts-7 on hot mode. i have the drive all the way up, with the tone at about 10 'o clock and the volume half way up. i don't really like it. not the most perfect way to go about playing distortion. i also think the mic on the camera made it sound a little better than it really is.

  • yeah that would interest me aswell

  • what were the settings on the delay. nice video btw!

  • i'm gonna have to check for you later on that. i won't be home til jan 2nd. i'll let you know =)

  • Its supposed to be a tape delay with a bit of phaser

  • it's a boss rv-3 reverb/delay pedal. the balance and feedback are in the middle (12 o clock). the mode is mode 2. i don't remember the time in ms. but just adjust the delay time to match the song i guess. or whatever speed you want.

  • i correct myself now i know what it is lol im prolly ordering that guitar too just th enew models it seems pretty good. and wonderful performance

  • yeah it's from a company named stagg. to be honest, it was the look that attracted me first. then when i got it, it was an complete upgrade from the squire affinity crap i had. but now this is starting to turn bad. haven't really been taking care of it. thanks!

  • sorry for naggin but would you consider it a decent beginners guitar? yeah i was thinkin about buying a strat from squier but i decided to go for the stagg cause i saw your video

  • i think it's a lot better than the squier affinity strat. the squier affinity telecasters are pretty nice though. this guitar has got some pretty good tones so i think it's a good beginnerer's guitar. i hear the company is actually rather popular in germany or something. it's just a matter of replacing components to your liking. i need to change my tuners and the nut, but i'm comfortable with it. have fun and thanks for the comment!

  • good cover.

except the chords in the chorus are wrong except for the first one

  • that was perfect man!

  • NICE man, nice.

  • good cover dude!keep playing, im busy with that one 2...that effect in the intro/verse can u create with Flanger+Echo+light distortion

  • you could, but i guess it's the delay that makes it a volume swell. try it out. i've seen people do it before.

  • dude how do you get that tone??

  • Your covers are insane!

    Make yourself n_n

The only song i can cover by incbus Is Crowded Elevator

    5/5 Of course

  • just to let you know man it sounds good but you're going to the chorus too early

  • yeah, i actually do that a lot when i'm playing by myself. don't know why i can't get over going to the chorus too early. thanks for the comment =)

  • what kind of guitar is that? it looks like a jazzmaster with a telecaster head?

  • good stuff man, top effort....

  • mmm, bass VI

  • i'm using a vox cambridge. one of those "hybrid" amps. don't really like it but i get some pretty good tone out of it i suppose. i'm using those cheap ibanez tonelok ts-7 on hot mode. i just have the gain cranked and that what it comes out to mixed with my vox =)

  • you nail the effects dude, just a little advise...mike uses different chords positions on the intro and in some chorus parts, but you got a perfect 10 on the song

  • Delay and phaser! cool. what type of distortion pedal are u using?

  • i love your sound effects!!! what sort of amplifier have you?

  • hey can u tell me the effects u used....5 stars btw..u kixk ass dude!!

  • i used the boss digital delay in front of a mxr phase 90...just how mike plays it.

  • hey..can u tell me wat effects u used??plz..btw..5 stars..u kick ass dude

  • dude your volume swells kicked ass...I'm about to post the acoustic version, let me know what you think

  • that's well ace :)

  • I sang along! haha thanks.. i enjoyed it:)

  • overall good i like the volume swells but u were early on some notes but just get rythm and ur goldn

  • u should find a singer ;)

  • your sounds are nice but you need to work on your hand rhythm shake (I'm not certain but you miss one note), it doesn't sound funkey..Mike is a guitarplayer who got inspired from the 60s/70s sound.

Just work on that and you'll sound perfect ;)

  • Beautiful job, sounds perfect

  • Very nice!!!!

  • Tres bien tht was aweomse Incubus would be proud *salute*

  • dude....thts sweet...your awesome

  • o then u have the rite one u must have put to much delay on it cause like as soon as he strums the strings it makes the first one then the second on like a second after that on lol

  • if you watch him play it live, he does use a phaser with a delay. what's wrong about it?

  • how many of u people are gunna play this song rong first rong peddale close but not the rite peddale

  • i'm just using a boss delay with a phaser. phase 90 or any other phaser with a moderate sweep should do. believe it or not, i'm using a ts-7 (crappy tonelok ibanez tubescreamer) set to hot mode running through a vox amp.

  • what kinda of delay do you use for that, i use an ibanez digital delay but it sounds like you got it right on, and what what distortion are you using, its a good fender tone let me know

    dtrantham

  • Sounds tight man. Good job!

  • thanks for the comments. you can find a tab of it at this site: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/i/incubus/warning_ver2_tab.htm

  • Did you use tablature for that? Can u show me the site where u found em?

  • I love this clip! I've always wanted to get an electric with distortion pedals. You played that song really well, I'm a huge incubus fan. Keep up the good work!
