We aren't. I could make all of these predictions (except for the "god" ones). A just God would not punish you for others actions. Every year there are earth quakes, volcanoes erupting, huricanes, storms, tornadoes. It's very easy to make those predictions.

When God gives a prophecy, it is DIRECTLY from God. Any other prophecy is not of God, it's from a false witness.

A prophecy is the message that has been communicated to a prophet which the prophet then communicates to others.

In general, this particular message can be an interpretation of what he thought was God.

He might very well be a false witness, but if it's a real warning that needed to be heeded than just by chance I heeded it.
