This is why cycling is hard as a sport, a cras can get you outof the game for a season or two.

You do a course 30 times and the 31th time on the descent some sand appears in a corner and BAM! finding yourselve grinding the face and elbows on the tarmac for 20 meters.

Now if roadies when out and practiced with mountain bikers and trials riders before they became a spandex queen on tarmac they would most likely avoid most of these crashes and actually have the capacity to read the body language of the ones crashing. i have seen so many roadies crashing on the road and far less skilled mountain bikers taking a spill. Most roadie hot heads ride too fast for their skill level wanting to be like "Mike" or in this case "Lance" how gay is that!

I was very recently on this side of cycling and it is the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I got third degree burns and im still healing 3 weeks later. It SUCKS.
