but wasn't it weird just how biased the judges were on the finale night?!? i mean, i love jeanine don't get me wrong but isn't this about america's FAVORITE dancer, not necessarily to best technical dancer. Might i add that this year seems to be the year of the underdog...examples, Helen vs. Tara on Biggest Loser, Shawn vs. Gilles on DWTS, Adam vs. Kris on Idol, and Jeanine vs. Brandon on SYTYCD

Good call on the year of the underdog (since I watch all those shows) but most are a good example of how important the finale performances are. Helen outworked Tara at home, Shawn outdanced Gilles in the final 3, Kris had a better "original" song version for the radio...

then there's Jeanine and Brandon- Jeanine needs more credit overall because as a female her strength in dancing is going to be different and can't be compared to Brandon's muscles and how high he can jump, etc. She outdid him on their hip hop too:) And the judges already knew who the winner was on finale night so that has a lot to do with their bias.

I loved Jeanine soooo much. I loved her hip hop too, and it's weird because she has no hip hop experience. She has great control; it's so amazing to watch her. And I find it odd that Brandon is like so freaking buff and ripped, and he's never worked out before....How does that happen?!? lol

She didn't outdance them on their Pop Jazz by Laurie Ann. They both have a different quality of movement and if you know Laurie Ann's style she is definitely hard hitting, which Brandon nailed and Jeanine (as Mia pointed out) hung in.

Congratulations Jenine Mason!! My favorites made it all the way to the finale: Brandon, Kayla and Evan. :) I happy for Jeanine though. She was actually a good dancer too and my 4th favorite haha. :) Thanks for posting updates for sytycd! I love the Pase Doble cause of Brandon was ficrece and H.O.T. Jeanine R.O.C.K it too. Awesome night the finale was loved everything. Congratz again to Jeanine Mason!!! :)

Okay folks, I wouldn't want anyone suffering from SYTYCD withdrawal so tune in Tuesday August 11th @ 8:00pm EST for Season 2 of Canada's SYTYCD. While our hostess is not Cat Deely, the dancing and choreography is equal to the US version. Jean Marc Genereux (he is Canadian) hosts with other Canadian choreographers and the occasional visit from Mary Murphy, Dan Karaty, Danny Ortega and others. BTW - Stacey Tookey isn't the only amazing Canadian choreographer. Check it out...

Yes, they did and he had the red lipstick on his face during the bows to prove it! It was never mentioned whether it was choreographed but I think you are right about the girls liking to kiss Jason. lol

Good thought (was it choreographed?)..hmmm, now you have me thinking. lol. If not choreographed, he's a very spontaneous, aggressive guy. Guess we still have a lot to learn about Jason!! :) Someday we'll have him on DanceDish and get the dish on it all!

Ever since the jive with phillip I never jeanine would be in the finale, Im so happy she won. And I think the only reason why janette and brandons jazz wasnt shown was because there was no stairs at the kodak theater and to be honest the light in the kodak was kinda crappy.

Ernie will be happy that someone else agrees on the lighting.:) Brandon and Janette did dance the disco that I LOVED so I guess it would've been tough to pick one out of all their amazing performances!

Not only the lighting was a problem but the camera work as well. Next season they need to bring the stairs if they change the venue. Would've liked to see Brandon & Janette do their Wade Robson routine.... also the Crash Test Dummy routine.
