Thanks, hen , for allowing ma video resposne. Ma song is not a parody (ah don't know what a parody is; ah thought it wis that thing ye put up when it rained!). Ah will admit it IS pathetic, tho. So its a pathetic parody? (BTW ah thought a "parody" wis whit ye got in Golf, but ah looked it up in ma dictionary). Your singing moved me. My singing moves people too (usually as far away from me as possible). Its a braw, bricht , moonlit nicht (thank God, as ah huvnae paid ma electricity bill !!
@Shuggydylan You're very welcome. For reference, a parody is when someone decides to cover a song by making fun of it, be it either changing the words or singing it in a way that is degrading to the song.
@CrystalusAurora Well, we live and learn, hen. BTW Andy Mckellar is a walking parody LOL (he is a comedy character who steals ma channel noo and then LOL)l
This is so beautiful! (and you are too, by the way). I am German with scottish roots and I do not cry often. But this really touched my heart and made me cry. Thank you so much and keep on singing so wonderful!!!
Hi Lady -looking around for a long time finding the originally lycrics - you are the one - phantastic - I love it - benear that you have a lovley voice :-)
Thanks for your rendition. I, too, do not care for the cheap shots people take. I love to sing this rousing anthem (probably not nearly so well as you did it, though) as I drive down the highway in the big truck. Thanks, again.
This isn't bad at all... Scots are a bit louder, a bit bolder, if you speed it up just a bit and really go for a more powerful rendition it should sound even better.
I have enjoyed immensely listening to your rendition of Scotland the Brave, whit a brave young lassie ye are hen, what a bonny bonny voice, just a few more practices i'd love to hear another version, lovely soft voice, perfect. thanks, Linda
Thank you so mutch for this sublime performance. Indeed you're the only one who sing this song here respectfully, and It seems all people in the world could love it. (I'm French! :) )
Hmmm, nice. But it's supposed to be sung with full natural voice. It's not the kind of song you can do with a singing voice. It's more like a crowd chant at a football... sorry, soccer match :)
And you're correct, it sounds so foreigh with out the Scottish pronunciation. Hahaha the Americans have already bastardised the English/British language. Which is OK, but PLEASE leave Scotland alone :D
I'm only joking. It's pleasantly surprising to see that a foreigner has a wee interest xxx
Ya know I'm Scottish, and I can't sing that. bravo! :-)

I fail to see why this video has as many dislikes as it does. Probably American pricks.
minister6evil 1 month ago
@minister6evil Thank you. It's probably because it's a softer version, and most people are used to this song being belted out.
