I first watched this animated version of"The Return To Oz"on a Sunday Night

on ABC TV back in the late 1970's. The film was hosted by Mr.Bill Cosby as"The Wizard Of Oz",two kids playing

"The Munchkins":"Sprig & Twig" and a wisecracking Parrot puppet.

Of all annimated features of Oz, this is by far one of the best.

I too have rented this years ago. I loved it. Isn't Journey Back to Oz on DVD by any chance?

I rented this several times when I was 6-7 years old at a local video rental that once existed down the street from me. I did not realize that the same annimated company; Filmation did the annimation to this motion picture. Whenever I have thought of Filmation, it would make me think of both He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra: The Princess of Power, and the Star Trek annimated series. I'd like to eventually find this on DVD, if that is possible.

I got this for Christmas and instantly loved it after watching it! It's as good as The Wizard Of Oz, The Wiz, The anime version from 1982, Return To Oz, and The Muppet's Wizard Of Oz.

Yo cuando tenía casi 7 años sí echaron esta película en televisión pero lo que pasa es que cuando la ví cogí muchísimo miedo y tenía pesadillas,pero afortunadamente no ha pasado nada, ahora estoy recuperado de tales pesadillas :)
