Hes gonna die by drugs like a real rock and rolla old age hasnt slowed him down much if he doesent die from drugs hes gonna die of old age at the ripe age of 120
in fact during this show (i was there) iggy invited the audience to the stage, resulting in a crowd of about 60 people dancing on stage. so i don't think this is a bad audience.
i agree however, that the audience is not often seen in this video, so blame the filming crew.
@PieceofMindmusic ah yes ive seen that video of everyone mobing the stage, didnt realize it was the same gig. thanks for clearing that up, mustve been really cool to see em with ron!
rarely do i enjoy a band. i mean 'artists' of all kinds are true definitive assholes. bar none. but hey, you know something, i enjoyed this video very much. go figure.
Undestructible, that drum bass and guitar doing the same rythm just stay inside my head for hours this music is insane , one of the my fav bands oyeeeee.
You wonder why Your life sucks? Because of Your attitude toward God. Jesus Christ changed the world and offers us salvation. told us to feed the hungry and the helpless. You put a heroin addict ahead of him. Youre an idiot.
Im 53 years old and never in a million years did I think The Stooges would ever reform, and to be as kick-ass as they are is the best thing that ever happened to me in my lifetime......except The Beatles
That's Ron Ashton on guitar. The recording doesn't do them justice I saw them live in '71 at the University of Detroit - one of my top 5 lifetime concerts.
how the FUCK has there been all this talk of punk and not a SINGLE mention of the ramones?!?!?!?!? the clash and sex pistols kinda stole the ramones sound when the ramones toured britain.
the stooges and the ramones two of the best punk bands ever no one will ever come close.
I'm always amazed to think they came up with this song in... 1969! Right when others were still tripping out in hippy land (which I like too by the way)
Every other "punk fan" talks about the Pistols in 75-79, but the Stooges came together in 67, ten years before! This band was so ahead of the game in 69, total visionaries. They coined a new, über-violent, brilliant version of Punk, and to me, they also closed the loop, their songs are both perfect beginnings, and perfect maturation of Punk.
Wow... Says alot about music today... He's, what, nearly 60-ish? And he still has more charisma and stage prescence than alot of youth bands today making millions of dollars... Tut tut.
the stooges were probably the best band that never made it big it really is a dissapointment . i like to listen to there music cause you can almost here the heroin
