I really don't like this trailer...It's not the acting so much, it's mostly the editing. I don't like all the random effects. It makes it look sooo cheesy and fake. I mean, if you can't do good effects because of budget or whatever, than why do so many effects? A few good effects looks a lot better than many bad ones. Wow.. O_O Normally I can't stand book trailers - they seem so wooden and more often than not the characters look *nothing* like how they're described - but this is.. just wow. I'm shocked, I actually liked it, loved it even :D Great job!

All the effects looked amazing. I didn't picture the characters *exactly* like this (Magnus looked a little strange lol) but it's still the best book trailer cast I've ever seen :) The actress playing Clary was an especially great choice in my opinion.

Taking criticism is part of life. I don't see anything wrong with people giving a negative opinion if one doesn't like it. It's not a good trailer, plain and simple. If Clare did indeed cast it then obviously some don't agree with her choices. The books are amazing, there is NO denying that. I loved this book trailer!! It was made to entice me to buy the book and it does! Job done! Sold! The casting was very well done, each role was filled with exactly who I thought of when reading the series. The cast did an awesome job, very professional and each brought something of their own to the role. The lighting and directing was great, the make up and runes and the costumes were appropriate and made the characters come to life. Even the sound and CG I rocked! Can't wait to see the rest!!!
