Nah- First of all that was Ivan, so they could easily say that Sheba just sucks at mind reading.

Second- they're a lot stronger at Venus lighthouse so they could probably shield themselves with psyenergy.

Third- It could be that since Ivan is also a wind adept, that he can interfere with Sheba

Although I will grant you that they never explained this, it is to be presumed that they are too strong for this to work anymore, and it probably doesnt help that Sheba is a weakling

Me too, the main thing in GS and particulary in other games is not graphics, and that's the main problem in game industy - they worry more about graphics, than gameplay and other important elements. And, methinks, 3D-graphics won't be good for this great game. But who knows... First lets try!

I agree that it gives the player the chance to become the character, and Link was done well in L.O.Z., but I much prefer when a protagonist engages in dialogue just like the other characters, but particularly in a game series like Golden Sun when a large number of characters make frequent appearances like Isaac & Co, Felix & Co, the Fire Clan antagonists (Karst, Agatio, Saturos, Menardi) and Kraden etc, the main characters Isaac and Felix need a voice like the others.

Well, the whole idea behind a silent protaganist is that you're supposed to project yourself into the character (this is usually achieved with choices that affect dialogue and stuff like that). I actually enjoy silent protaganists when done well (Zelda, GS, SMT, Dragon Quest)
