In my opinion, DRB was so great because they never let the rock overwhelm the country in their country-rock. Don't hear much steel guitar in pop-country or country-rock these days.
The guitarist is Jeff Ross(who replaced John Jorgenson in 1992),the steel player is Tom Brumley(who replaced Jay Dee Maness in 1991) and the drummer is Tim Grogan(who replaced Steve Duncan in 1992).
John Jorgenson, by this time, had left to play on Michael Nesmith's masterpiece album from '91, "...tropical campfire's..." and tour with him in support of the album.
Now that's country-rock at it's best!

Saw this particular incarnation of DRB
and they were GOOD....DRB ; way ahead as were the FBBs.... miss 'em much !
