DC Comics tried to sue Stephen Cannell, but the judge said GAH was more like Green Lantern than Superman since GAH's powers came from a gift from alien (as opposed to GAH being superpowered himself). I consider this legal karma since DC sued Fawcett Comics over Captain Marvel -- serves 'em right ...

Great vid. The music really syncs up with the visuals. With all of the super hero/comic book movies being popular today, I think the Greatest American Hero deserves an epic movie release.

@Victus6 If I'm not mistaken, Stephen Cannell (the series creator) is in the middle of writing the script. Let's hope "The A-Team" does well (another of his creations) so a studio will want to invest in him again.

@G0ODOLBOY I hope so. GAH would be great as a movie. Just an average guy who somehow winds up with a suit that gives him super powers and not some perfect ideal person who has all of their morals in line. Unfortunately, from what I've heard of the A-Team movie, its just another dumbed down action movie. Haven't seen it, though.

DC Comics lost the lawsuit it filed against Stephen J. Cannell on the grounds that, if anything, the Greatest American Hero was more like Green Lantern than Superman since, like GL's ring, Ralph's superpowered costume was a gift. I'd love to forward this clip to whoever the lawyer was that initally filed that suit!

Very well done! Nice choice of scenes to go with the song, and ending with Reeve smiling as he flies by (like all his Superman movies ended) was the perfect touch. Excellent!
